JAR + Bar

Nice ambiance great drinks,
Salads were great but didn't get a chance to try any of the food considering our server Isaiah didn't tell us the kitchen closed at 10. So when we went to order entrees. We were not able to . I asked the sever why wouldn't he tell us the kitchen was closing ?! Knowing we said we would order more after our appetizers .He had nothing to say and didn't even apologize. So we left hungry.

The food here is pretty good, we tried 2 apps, the nachos, which were good, but nothing special, and the steamed sliders, also good, but not really different than anywhere else. The setting and service were both very good. However, 2 apps and 3 drinks brought us to $75 before tip. For that kind of money I expect be be very impressed with the food and $11ish for a rum and Coke!?!?
Nope.

Kudos to new Chef Gerry and the whole crew for creating a great menu. Everything we had was over the top delicious. As someone familiar with many of the area restaurants I would put Jar and Bar on a par with the best. We'll be back soon!

Tried out JAR+Bar for the first time and just so happened to go on the restaurants 1 yr anniversary.  The vibe was cool. We started off with a few appetizers/small plates...Calamari, Char Siu Pork Belly, Sliders and Olives :). Kept it light wanted to check out the drink menu more than anything. Their selections of Gins were quite nice and the drinks were made to perfection. Definitely planning to go back on a nice warm night to experience the patio scene.

Food is incredible and what a crazy good deal. Quality of ingredients are top notch, and the price blew my mind. We told them they could easily charge more (sorry if they do but it's true). The sous chef came to the table, he cooked the duck perfectly. 5 star performance on park road, I'm amazed. Will definitely be back for the live music 👌🏻
