Saltwater Grille

Best happy hour! Incredible wine dinners! Great staff! One of my favorite local places.

The Litchfield Saltwater Grille is fabulous! I'm a little spoiled in that I live close to the shore so I wasn't expecting a place so far inland to do seafood so well. It was such an enjoyable experience celebrating my birthday here. Maria, our server was wonderful. We loved the cozy feel of the restaurant. Great drink selection! The tuna appitzer was excellent as well as the fried calamari. We also thoroughly enjoyed the salmon, swordfish, and shrimp and scallop pasta. We will definitely be back and recommend to others!

The shrimp cocktail is huge and amazing. The atmosphere is quaint. The service is excellent and the dishes are great for vegetarians to fish and meat lovers.

Food was excellent and service was excellent. In fact the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the ambience was lacking some, at least from where we sat.

Started with calamari and it was very good. Loved the hot fried peppers included with it and both dipping sauces were excellent.

Also had the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. They come 4 to a plate. The bacon was a little crisper than expected and overpowered the scallops some, but still very good.

Had the blackened swordfish with wild rice and vegetables. The sides were okay but that swordfish was exceptional. And the portion included two swordfish steaks which was great.
