The Iron Rail

Damn good food everytime we stop at this restaurant. Pricey but worth it. Average service but exceptional food. Been here three times, months apart. Consistent quality.

Gluten free options, and the staff took extra precautions against cross-contamination. I got the NY Strip and it was very great, without (gluten) incident. Cozy atmosphere; we sat in a booth. Waitress was pleasant and attentive. Recommend.

I do like the atmosphere, but... The portions are very small for the price. 14$ for 3 small scallops when I was told there would be 5. My b.f. Ordered cod with risotto, and again, the cod was small and it was over a bed of rice...not risotto! The waitress brought his soup before his meal because she obviously forgot it. And the service was very slow.

There is nothing worse than booking a party for 23 and having 27 show up. Especially when the Engine Room has a capacity of 25. The manager at the Iron Rail could not have been more accommodating. He was actually apologizing to me for inconveniencing us. Now that is true management. His waitstaff was top notch with incredible service and personality. And the food...was fresh and delicious. We entertain medium size parties often and we looking forward to coming back..

Great food amazing staff. Good place to have a quiet dinner or have a few drinks with friends. Beer list could improve, that is literally my only gripe. Overall great place to spend an evening with family and or friends
