Interlaken Inn

I wish I could give them more stars, as I understand the challenges business owners are going through. However, I felt that the experience wasn't worth the $350+ I paid for the night.

Let me emphasize that we really enjoyed the outdoor space. The ground was well kept. There was plenty of space to hang out, and there were basketball hoops, volleyball net, tennis court as well as a few other amenities and games. There weren't a lot of guests the night we stayed. We had the lawn to ourselves and the amenities were pretty much unoccupied. We stayed in the woodside building. The building had easy access to the outside and there's a large lawn right in front of the building for humans and dogs to enjoy.

However, the room itself was very disappointing. Although it was above ground, the low ceiling plus the old house smell made it feel like we were living in a basement. The bed was squeaky and wobbly. Although the building was quiet overall, the next room's floors were so squeaky that I was awaken at 6.30am when the person next door started to walk around. We were also not given any cups, not even the disposables ones, just a broken ice bucket.

I'm sure my dog enjoyed her stay. I just wished the room was better given the price tag.

Ive been staying here for over 20 years due to it's proximity to Lime Rock Park. It's always been clean, comfortable beds, nice continental breakfast and friendly staff. Swimming pool, lake with boating, very nice setting in the Berkshires. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that I reserve that level for truly exceptional places.

As a wedding photographer, I always LOVE coming to the Interlaken Inn! The staff is one of the best and most hardworking staff I’ve worked with. They hustle all night long to make sure all the guests are treated with the best service and hospitality. Not only do they look out for the guests, but they treat all the vendors like pure gold. Barb & Sam are always communicating with the vendors to ensure a smooth timeline and every goes off beautifully without any issues. The food is absolutely delicious, and I’ve eat at hundreds of venues and sadly can’t say the same thing. I would highly recommend them for your next event, as no where else can replicate that feeling you get when you walk away, and just say “wow, I can’t wait to be back!” That’s what it’s all about! Thanks for always being amazing when I’m at your venue. It means more to me than you’ll ever know.

My wife daughter and I attended a wedding this past weekend and we truly enjoyed our time there. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment we got there. Winston , Judy , Abby and Vanessa are true professionals. The staff that took care of the wedding from appetizers to drinks being served were truly exceptional I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away from a few days from busy city life. There’s a pool, tennis court and basketball court. But nothing is better then the lake view it’s to die for.

We booked a last minute stay at Interlaken Inn and enjoyed a weekend by the lake. 5 stars for customer service! I accidentally forgot my wedding band and the front desk team went and looked for it, and once located it, kindly mailed it to us. The lake is serene, there are some kayaks and canoes and lounge chairs.

Location was also great for exploring Hudson valley and Berkshire towns. Rooms need a bit of updating, but the essentials are there.
