Went here a couple of days ago with my daughter, my brother and his kids. Some of us got lunch items and some got breakfast items. The food there was very good and service was fast. Very nice family atmosphere.

The go-to town diner. I only recently realized that their menu boasts a "house special" in the breakfast entrees, and it did not disappoint. Shaved potato hash browns, cheese, meats and veg in a wonderful breakfast souffle. Staff is busy but dedicated, and genuinely care that you're having a good experience. Being the town diner, they have lots of "regulars", and the staff go out of their way to recognize them. My fiance's family eat here all the time, and they are served their coffee just the way they like it without even being asked. Do yourself a favor: Treat the staff well and come here often enough that they recognize you. The food is good, and the service is cozy. A Cromwell Gem to be sure.

Good American breakfast food at honest prices. Not many vegan options but I got grits, potatoes, toast and coffee for cheap. Friendly waitstaff and good cheer all around. Great place to go for a weekend brunch but remember that they close at 2pm. Definitely a staple of the CT dining experience.
