Hard Hat Tavern

We finally tried Hard Hat Durham this evening. We decided on take out. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Riley, the hostess, is a gem. She’s professional, friendly and helpful. She took it upon herself to seek clarification from the kitchen on a menu item. She seems to really love her job!

Great meal. The Bison burger was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Turkey club which was great but huge, so she took some home!

Glad to have a nice, new local restaurant in the location. The food is very good. We tried the Doob wings which are nice and crispy. We tried the California Cobb and Hard Hat salads and thought they were both well prepared. The fries were a bit soggy with the chicken tenders kids meal, but that sometimes is exacerbated by take out containers. Those 4 dishes were about $80, which is a bit in the higher side. However, when we come back and try their not main dishes I will gladly upgrade my review to a 5 star.

Had to try this new restaurant out and it did not disappoint! From the complementary valet service, no wait time (even though lot was packed), excellent food and drinks! 100% recommend going here!!

We shared the mousse cake which did not disappoint! :) Definitely will be coming back here!
