Little Pub Old Saybrook

This place has some of the best food around for the price. They could use some nicer seats. The hard wood is tough after sitting for over an hour.

Service was excellent the beers were awesome. My particular appetizer was okay should have ordered something else. Anyway definitely going to try some more stuff on the menu.

I really want to love Little Pub in Old Saybrook. I have loved their other locations when I made it to them. This location has an issue with bar service, however. Bartenders are often inattentive or not very interested in customers.

The food is great, and they have great beer on tap. Service at tables has always been pleasant.

I went for my friends who were playing that night (ATWDF band). I had never been to the Little Pub. I got there around 8:30 and the band started playing at 9. This was the bar room in the back. Wide open, busy, noisy as heck, which competed with the band.

Staff was friendly. I was going to have a beer, stay for an hour or so, but I ended up staying for a few beers, and an appetizer, which was very good. Menu looks great overall. All sorts of pub food. I didn't focus on dinner entrees because I was just eating small at that hour. It couldn't have been more than 4 minutes between ordering the calamari appetizer and getting it placed in front of me. Even the waitress walked by and said, "Wow that was fast!"

I'll be back and will bring friends, especially if they have ATWDF band back again. ;-)

I took my mom here for the first time for lunch around 2 on a weekday. It was very quiet (which we were hoping for) and we were seated quickly. Food came out fast, I got the Mushu Pork Tacos and mom got a burger. Both were great! Really love the decor and atmosphere, waitstaff was friendly, prices were reasonable for area and quality of food.
