Excellent food and service, especially if you like seafood. I had the cod, which was very tasty and cooked just right. The carrots were disappointing though. The desserts were fantastic.

I've been eating at Fresh Salt for a very long time. The menu changes more than seasonally, and the food is of a high caliber. Even in winter, there's a visual pleasure in being able to eat only a few 10's of feet from the water. Atmosphere is trendy and bustling. Do not go here if you need a quiet table to talk to each other softly. The bar is almost always busy and the folks behind the bar pleasant, quick and attentive. When I last went there, entrees ran about $15 for a burger, and from the $ mid-twenties on up for the other dishes. Everyone at our table - except me, enjoyed their meal. I had corned beef and cabbage with very, very lightly cooked veggies and very salty corned beef. To be fair, however, it's unusual to have a bad meal here.

Fun seafood menu, good drinks. We ate at the bar and enjoyed the view of boats and water. The menu had some nice choices that included lots of fish items. They had three types of fresh oysters. I sampled all of them and was very happy with the freshness. The bartender was knowledgeable about the oysters which is always nice. Great place to enjoy an afternoon by the water. My wife and I would like to stay at the hotel. We are already making plans for a visit this summer. It seemed very nice from the lobby. There was a wedding going on the day we were there. Seemed like a cold day for a wedding but to each their own. The restrooms are worth mentioning. Lots of stone and very clean. No attendant but not really a knock against them. All in all a great restaurant. If I had to pick a flaw I would say it was little tight inside but not awful. I will definitely be going back when the weather is nice. Can't wait!

My family and I enjoyed brunch at Fresh Salt on Christmas and New Year’s Day. The brunch buffet both times had wonderful selections. Pasta station, soup station, carving station and omelette station and waffle station. Soup included parsnip which had a delicate flavor, creamy and smooth. The carving station had a choice between prime rib, leg of lamb and turkey. The self serve had cold seafood of smoked salmon, oysters, and much more. Hot buffet of fresh ravioli, swordfish and vegetables. Wonderful choice of breads and pastries. Delicious variety of salads including gold beet salad. Good selection of top shelf liquor. Wait staff was perfect! Very attentive and quick. Beautiful decorations and wonderful, peaceful views. I will always go back to Fresh Salt.
