Absolutely delicious and authentic! Their house made salsa is shockingly flavorful as well. It's family owned/operated and they were extremely friendly and engaging, making my wife and I feel welcome and appreciated. Other restaurants could take a lesson from these folks. We look forward to our next visit (which will be soon)!

It's difficult to find authentic Hispanic food this far north (without going to Wallingford), but Taqueria Cinco nails it. The food here is great every time. I highly recommend the menudo. This time of year, menudo is the perfect solution to keep yourself warm. If that doesn't sound good, then the pozole is equally fantastic.

Personally, my favorite meat here is the Carne Enchilada! Get that in a quesadilla, and you're in for a delicious meal. The selection of jarritos is excellent as well. Tamarind is easily my favorite, along with the mandarin.

Horchata. The usual drink of choice with Hispanic food. Most places use a simple mix packet; however, they make their horchata from scratch. It's absolutely worth trying!

Let's not forget desserts! The flan is sublime, and the tres leches cake is to die for; creamy and soft with so much flavor!

All in all, this is an easy 8.5/10. I'll definitely be returning regularly.

We tried this restaurant for takeout on a whim and it was really great. The employees were super friendly and quick. I had the steak arepas which came with rice and beans and my boyfriend had steak tacos. Everything was delicious and the portions were nicely sized. The tres leches cake was also very yummy. Definitely worth a try!

The food was amazing and staff was incredibly nice and respectful. Definitely one of the best restaurants in the shoreline that can actually be defined as authentic Mexican food. There are also a variety of options for food and drinks. The staff treated me with such kindness and respect. Im very indecisive for placing an order yet they were so patient and continued to hold a smile and gave me suggestions for what I should get. They were giving genuine and excellent service. If you want amazing tasting food and to feel welcomed definitely try this place out.
