The Hub Pizza Bar

I know the valley gets a bad reputation, but this place is worth the drive and a visit. The beer menu (draft/bottles/cans) was really good, and the pizza choices were pretty solid as well. It's nice to be able to get really good quality food without having to go into New Haven!

Atmosphere was cool the whole front of the building opens to outside. The staff was friendly and service was quick. We ordered 3 pizza's clam casino, margarita and a meatball, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes .It is a thin crust but I could not tell it was wood fired from the flavor and when I picked it up and folded it it bent, to soft. So many good pizza parlors in the Valley so you have to impress from day one so I will not be back.

The Hub is a new Pizza bar on Main Street in scenic little Ansonia. The hub is on the smaller side, but a large garage style door makes this spot feel much roomier than it is. I see this place being a popular nighttime spot in good ole Copper City.

I didn't love the pizza here, but taste is subjective. If you like bar style pizza with a sweeter sauce, this is the place to eat.

Nice bar and atmosphere, but works good as a take out pizza place as well.

The pizza is very good. It reminded me of Brooklyn, thin crust and good sauce and cheese. It's a little bigger than a personal size, I'd say medium small 6 slice. But the price is reasonable and I could see ordering 2 or 3 for a meal at home in relation to other options in the area.

What a place what an atmosphere. Staff was incredible Owner John was very attentive to clients both at tables and the bar. Wings were delicious and wife and I had chicken bacon ranch pizza!!!????????. A great addition to downtown Ansonia. Good luck for many years of success to The Hub!!!
