Ilforno Ristorante Italiano

Never had a bad meal. Staff is attentive. Food quality is excellent. Quiet place you can actually have a conversation.

When my family recently moved to Branford we had some trouble figuring out where to get good pizza. Well, after much trial & error we've found Ilforno. Great pizza. Great dinners. They're always ready within 30 minutes. They deliver & also have a very nice dining area for eating in. It's really a wonderful Italian restaurant that's very reasonably priced. Where we used to go charged us almost a full $20 more for our pizzas. And Ilforno's is, without a doubt just as good. We've gone nowhere else for pizza since finding Ilforno.

Had an amazing evening taking over the whole restaurant for my Wife's Baby Shower.

I just dropped my rating by one star!! This place USED TO BE superb. I just had a pizza delivered the other day that had 3 topping added. What happened to this place??? Their toppings were very skimpy AND MY PIZZA WAS ALMOST COLD!!!!! Even the person answering the phone sounded like I was bothering him when taking my order!! When paying $2.65 for each extra topping I would expect there to be an extra amount of total toppings,,,, NOT 3 toppings that are equal in volume to what you would get for a single topping!!

Our hometown favorite restaurant! Fillet of Sole Florentine & French style are to die for. It's all I ever get but everything else is delicious. Their fresh baked pizza oven rolls are to die for, hot to touch, just melt a little butter.
