All 3 of us were very happy with every course! How often does that happen? Not only was the service excellent but the chef/owner came out to say hello and happy birthday to my dad. Wouldn't have changed a thing, really a terrific meal.
    Definitely will be back.

What a wonderful meal!! A Prix fixe menu with each course beautifully prepared. We were a party of 12 and completely dotted on. On the table was delicious ginger pickled yellow beets, olives and crusty bread with truffle butter. I completely enjoyed the large shrimp and flavorful soba noodle first course, green salad with warm goat cheese, Chilean sea bass and greens, and bread pudding for dessert. They have fine wines by the glass as well as a full bar for cocktails. French cuisine with an Asian flair in a cost atmosphere - a real dining experience!

Best French small intimate, local Cafe in New England. Warm friendly service. When you are done here, Roy and Winnie treat you like family. Every meal is orchestrated to perfection. Simple, quality ingredients and Roy's touch make this a special place.

I left Branford in 2001. Still to this day, the meal that we had at Le Petit Café is my favourite of all time. I was just regaling that dining experience with one of my coworkers (I now live way up North in Ontario) and decided to google to see if the restaurant was still in operation. I was also amazed to see that chef Roy Ip is still the head chef. Hats off to you Roy! You gave me a memory to last a lifetime.
