Smoked Salmon appetizer is a terrific start to any meal here. I would eat two instead of an entree which are also fabulous. Terrific two for Tuesday Thursday with botlle of wine. See Liz McNichol sing when she is here and enjoy a pint of Harp on tap.

Great food and atmosphere. Too many IPAs on tap list. Great spot for Wednesday night trivia.

Saw a comedy show there. Show was great but more importantly the pub was awesome. Great beers, food, and service.

Excellent meal. I had the chicken pot pie and my wife had the Sheppard's pie. Both meals were excellent

This is a towny kind of place, well-loved by the community. It seems that there are always lots of regulars around. It is a bar-centered atmosphere but fine for kids in the daytime. I'd describe the appearance as a bit dark and dingy, and darker than it appears in pictures currently posted. However, if I recall correctly, outside seating is usually available in the summer. In the evening tables can fill up quickly and there can be some very good entertainment. The food is at times hit or miss, but some is really delicious. It can also be pricey, depending on what you order, but the portions tend to be extremely generous. I would highly recommend cheesy fries. Just be prepared that if you are not a regular, service can at times feel a bit unfriendly, even grumpy.
