    Giovanni's is the best Italian take out and delivery restaurant in the southern Hamden area. They make excellent Neapolitan pies, outstanding calzones, and great entres. They make their marinara sauce from scratch, and it's as good as you will find anywhere. I particularly like it. Their hot and cold sandwiches are very good. I recommend Giovanni's any time you're in the Hamden area.

    I bought two small pizzas on two consecutive days, it was pretty decent, plus the young lady who work there was really nice and I didn't have to wait a very long time.

    With so many pizza restaurants in a close proximity this one doesn't really stand out in any way but it's the closest to me and the food and price are decent. Worth a try.
