Went on a recent weekend day, at a normal time for lunch. Told that an entire section of the already limited menu - sandwiches - was 86'd, but they could use anything to make a stuffed pretzel equivalent.
We request each one of the pre-existing stuffed pretzels, beer, and wait. Cooked to order is stated, however the wait was far longer than anticipated, at least 30 full minutes and more likely closer to 45. Would benefit from an estimate, such as when there are special dishes on other menus that they note will take about 20-30 minutes from time of order. A selection of no-cook apps, even such as pickles for a few dollars, would allay some of this.
That said, beer selection is excellent, and the pretzels, when we got them, were great. Communication and workflow require improvement.
Finally, vibe is, as has been mentioned in some other reviews, somewhat confusing. Weekend day brought some families with small children while others were at the bar. Is it a bar with snacks? Is it a restaurant? It's a long wait for snacks, unless you're planning in advance. This does explain the boardgames, maybe?
Great pretzels and really good selection on tap. The dessert ones are a must. We will be sure to be back!
Limited menu, but we enjoyed the food.
I thought the diversity of the tap list (20 on tap every day; they only have tap beers, no cans/bottles) was VERY good. I also liked that you can choose where to sit, and there are various options. Our server was really nice.
Big Thicc Pepperoni! Always wanted to visit this place but the one Downtown New Haven closed so I finally Ordered The Italian and It was super cheesy and had juicy pepperoni! Also my boyfriend ordered an apple bear (I think?) And it was delicious! Also they have board games like cards against humanity. Nice chill place!
