K LaMay's Steamed Cheeseburgers

I'm not from CT, I'm from WI and this is a pretty chill place, not bad at all. I purposely went to compare their burgers to Teds and I'm more of a fan of theirs bcuz of their cheese. They use sharp cheddar. I forget what cheese Ted use, maybe provolone but the environment here was nice and clean. Friendly staff. I must admit, although it looked really clean it did have an odor to it. Not sure if it's from the paper towels or what but, I was told they recently expanded in December. Glad they did bcuz I couldn't imagine how tight it was then. It's on a pretty busy road. You kind of have to make your way in, especially around 5:15p. Small lot. Overall if I could give 4.5 stars I would.

Wow this was good. Better than good. The steamed burger is a whole different experience. Juicy and loads of flavor. And the cheese they use is a strong cheddar that just makes it all even better. Great people working behind the counter, patient, friendly, and understanding of first timers. If you are into burgers this place must be on your bucket list.

The food and service at this restaurant is outstanding. The owner is enthusiastic, friendly and attentive to each customer--greeting everyone warmly as they enter. You won't need any ketchup (or other condiments) for the burgers, so save it for an order of freshly prepared onion rings or fries.

Obsessed with these burgers. They use a melted aged Sharp cheddar from Wisconsin and it's absolutely delicious. Its definitely not your 5 guys or McDonald's burger because it's not supposed to be. It's a magical sandwich. Also the staff are super friendly on top of the good food. Can't wait to go back and get another one.

What's not to love about a small business that makes amazing steamed cheeseburgers?! Great food, friendly staff, and fair prices! They just expanded and it looks beautiful. Very happy to see a small business doing well. Stop in for a famous steamed cheeseburger you won't be disappointed!
