Tom's Place

I lived in Meriden for many years and no matter how many times I have gone through South Meriden, I never noticed the place until a co-worker told me about it. Well, I took my wife, teenage daughter, and myself to Tom's Place for breakfast on Sunday and let me tell you, the service was excellent, the food portion was the perfect size, and despite that there were only two workers there (waitress and cook) we got our food within approximately 10 mins! We had free coffee refills and the waitress was quite friendly, courteous with a good sense of humor! It is a great family restaurant with reasonable prices. We will definitely come back again!

Many mornings here after canoeing the Quinnipiac. Friendly waitstaff and great local personalities make this eatery feel like home.

Tom's is a nice, little restaurant with a small town feel. The menu is simple. But what they offer, they seem to do very well. Have been there a few times for breakfast, and they seem to be expert at eggs; both times I have been very satisfied with the perfection in which they were cooked. Staff is friendly and welcoming, seemingly eager to welcome you into the small town crowd.
