Love this place! Phenomenal fish and chip meals at a great price! Hidden gem

I have scoured the darkest forests of New England to find authentic, British style, fish and chips. This place by far takes the cake not only in freshness and flavor, but in hospitality as well. I phoned in my order a bit late and arrived a little after closing. This woman waited for us to ensure that our meals were. She promptly dropped our fresh fillets of milky white cod fish into pristine, rolling oil. I took notice of the vintage looking bottles of malt vinegar, and knew right away that I was in the right place. At around 13 bucks, the price was right for 3 huge slabs of fresh cod fish, and a basket of perfectly crisped potato wedges. I would support these guys much more often if they were in New Haven. The distance between us could never discourage another quick trip to, Royal Fish and Chips.

Judging by the amount that I am writing, it is obvious that this fine meal was rich in omega 3 fatty acids. Fried or not, cod fish is great for a quick brain quencher. ;)
