The food was amazing and I was pleasantly surprised to find this spot. I’m from NYC & we have places like this, practically on every street corner. Out here not so much. So it’s definitely a welcomed addition to Naugatuck. I will certainly eat there again. The young woman that served me was very nice and the place was clean. Well worth the drive from Waterbury.

I stopped here for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. The curried goat was very good and wings were fantastic. The owner was super friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Very impressed as first timers! It was around 4pm when we went in, and we weren’t too sure how long the food at the counter had been out............ but we went for it anyway, and it was piping hot! The candied yams were to die for! I’ve never tasted anything quite like them - wow. The kind gentleman behind the counter also made us from scratch a jerk burger and pineapple chicken - both were excellent and the jerk incredibly authentic (no “white American” flavors here - this is the real deal!). Prices were fantastic too. Seems they’ve only been in business about 6 months. So fab to have something like this in the area. We’ll definitely be back.

Vintage Caribbean may be the best Jamaican food restaurant in CT. I first tried their oxtail with rice and beans, cabbage, mac and cheese. It was so good I had to send my wife there the next day, to try their jerk chicken. The jerk chicken there is unlike anywhere else. It tastes fresh off the grill with a spicy but flavorful jerk sauce they make in-house. So dam good.

The patties?! Good-luck getting their in time to get a curry chicken patty. Every time I ask if they have any left, "nope". For anyone visiting for the first time, definitely grab yourself one of those curry chicken patties.

All in all, I tried the oxtail, jerk chicken, curry chicken, stew chicken, stew beef, all their patties, all of its good. My favorite though, the jerk chicken, rice and beans, cabbage, mac and cheese, with a spicy beef patty (cause I usually get there when all the curry chicken patties are gone).

Very tasty & Very delicious! (2 thumbs UP).
I've looked forward to this menu for a week, now.
The Oxtail & Curry are my favorites and the portions are healthy.
You cannot beat this at this convenient location.
