Mercato Italian Kitchen and Bar

Beautiful place, we came early afternoon following a movie (not busy) 9 of us, (4 adults, 5 kids). The food was good (pizza, paninis, fries, salad) I removed 2 stars because the waitress didn't ask what option I wanted with my dish, she also didn't return to ask what drink I wanted. Since we were 9 there was a 20% tips included. We were overcharged (kids drinks come with it). I would of not put 20% if it wasn't included. As a waiter/waitress you must earn the tip, it is your job. Be friendly and you might earn more and/or people will return. We will go back in the future to see if the quality is still good and if the staff became better.

I didn’t have a bad experience but I felt the service I received was unfriendly, the food OK and, although the fries I ordered were listed on the menu as $6, I was charged $7 on my bill. Just wasn’t impressed enough to feel the need to return. I visited shortly after they opened thus perhaps they have some kinks to work out. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the octopus she ordered.

First time experience:

1. Inside is extremely nice, great setup and clean.

2. Food is great. Chicken Parmigiana with Spaghetti and Salmon.

3. Little pricey but the quality of the food matches. (save $8 and get tap water instead of bottled)

One of the only restaurants that understands how to cook a real aldente pasta! Friendly and efficient staff. Good atmosphere. The pizza is light and flavorful, and the pasta was creamy and authentic. I thoroughly look forward to my next visit to explore more of their menu.
