Rick's On 5

Spent the evening in Wallingford after seeing Phantom of the Opera at Oakdale. Stopped at Rick's for a Mother's Day breakfast on the way home. Got a booth right away and coffee seconds later. Had great omelets that were huge,service was great and prices were low. They do B,L,D. Stop if you're in the area.

First time there. Good size breakfast. Worth a try. Someone ordered a steak and cheese grinder. That's definitely my next meal.

Always great service. Everything made to order. Wed night pasta specials are great! Chicken Parm is super!

Rick's was a very pleasant surprise. Known for years as a breakfast and lunch place, I learned it also served dinner. Stopped for lunch and recieved a quantity and quality of food I didn't realize still was available in local diners. So impressed I returned for dinner and again was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the food. Dinner included free appetizers, a sumptuous meal and dessert. The cost for 2 people with tax $29.00. I highly recommend Rick's for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The staff is very friendly, courteous, and quick with the food. Also, the food is very good and the portions are huge! If you're going to give Rick's On 5 a try for breakfast I suggest you go hungry!
