Love it here. The staff is great. Trivia is super fun. Food is amazing, comes out hot, and tastes great.

This pub is a Wallingford standard. Longtime bartenders know the score and the patina is real. Their chicken tenders are consistent soul food and the drink prices are on par. It could be more than it is, though, likely held back by virtue of its own standards.

The food here is quite good and I go sometimes with friends. I really enjoy the burgers they make here, as they are quite good, however, it is at times lacking and it is a place for a certain kind of person. Archie Moore's is not for anyone who does not enjoy meat or who want a fancy meal. It is a more "get your hands dirty" type of place and there is nothing wrong with that. The setting is sub-optimal, which I guess is fitting with the type of food it serves, I simply feel it could do with a bit more refurbishing. The staff here are great and always treat my friends and I great.

One of my all time favorite bars. Nothing fancy, nicelcal spot. Good prices and quality food. Huge portions for appetizers. One if the few places to get a good buffalo burger also. Have been going for 15 years and have not yet had a bad experience.

The picture of the wings from the Archie’s website looks amazing! There’s lettuce, onions, and it just overall looks very presentable. I ordered takeout and I got a big aluminum tray of nothing but chips and jalapeños. Also reminded me of when I microwave nachos at my house, making a quick snack. Salsa is garbage as well. The wings are good but I can’t handle hearing another person saying “they are the best”. If you think that you need to get out a little. Heavily overpriced as well so watch out for that if it matters to you. At least for the nachos and wings the portions are pretty big. They don’t skimp on the sauces either which is always a big plus for me. Overall I’m sure I’ll be back, just not for nachos. ????????
