THE ART of YUM

We love this place! Great place for breakfast/brunch items. They have a very tasty Banana Foster's French Toast. It's not on the menu, but you can still order it and I like the French Toast version much better than the pancake version which is also good. The texas toast breakfast sandwiches are awesome and HUGE. A little on the pricey side, but the food tastes really fresh and delicious. I hope this place is here to stay! We need more dining options like this in Waterbury.

Laid back little place. Food was great service was great. What I think was the owner made my family feel very welcome. Definitely on our dining list for the future.

One of the services that The Art of Yum provides is meal delivery. This is the service I decided to take advantage of after the death of a cousin. This is a time when no one feels like cooking and so we sent off a week's worth of meals to our cousin's sister and her family.
She was so happy to receive this and let us know that with all the planning she has to do, it's nice not worry about cooking. The entire family loved the meals. Worth noting that they can be frozen and reheated later.

When placing the order, I called and spoke to Donte. He was so helpful and took the time to provide me with all the details I needed. He was also kind enough to take the order and deliver it the next day, even though we had missed the cut off to order. Words can't truly express how grateful we are to him for his kindness and for making this work.

They have a variety of unique options which was a nice to see. My husband ordered a steak and cheese sandwich. It was cheesy (just how we like) and flavorful. I got an egg sandwich with avocado spread and sausage which was good as well. The home fries were well done (just like how I requested), crispy on the outside and flavorful. The owner, a very well dressed gentleman, was a breath of fresh air- very welcoming, attentive and funny. Our waitress was very nice as well. It was a great experience overall. We will be coming back for sure! ❤
