Domenick & Pia Downtown Pizzeria

Visiting family and wanted some good quality pizza. This place was rated very high and is in the downtown area. We ordered half sausage half pepperoni, was done in approx. 15 minutes, the place was hopping, and it was at that time I heard a conversation regarding the establishment being a cash only joint. We were on vacation so we didn't have any cash, and had to use their cash machine at a $1.75 fee. It would help if that was posted in the place somewhere and online so that patrons k ow what to expect. The pizza was great, nothing like good quality pizza, and this is it.

They make the best pizza I have ever had. I cannot speak for New York pizza, or Italian Napoli Pizza, but I have a hard time imagining something better than this. I judge other pizzas based on this pizza. I always get a cheese pizza wherever I go. Nothing has beaten this.

This place been here for years before my time and always had in my eyes the best pizza in town i suggest everyone who visits waterbury to stop in for a slice. You wont be able to just eat one so i think you should get 2 slices off the bat.

It's a pretty good pizza, but definitely not the best in the city. 7.6 rating. Definitely well priced. No debit or credit cards though....in 2019

I wish I had taken a picture of my super loaded topped large pizza. I had pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onion, and mushrooms. I'm really not that much of a pizza person, but I loved this pizza. The toppings did slide off because I had ordered so many toppings, but no complaints on that. Seriously good service and pizza came out reasonably fast for being moderately busy!
