At Domenic’s and Vinnie’s, we serve only one item: pizza, in all its various forms (okay, you can also get a few great salads). Why? That’s what we do best and we want to focus on just that to serve the most delicious and freshest pizza imaginable. We take no short cuts, our family pride would never allow us to. Each and every pizza we serve is individually hand made to order. You can see it for yourself – our kitchen is designed so that you can watch the entire process, step by delicious step.

Our special recipe has been handed down for generations, dating back to our family’s roots in Castelpaganica, Italy in a province known particularly for its superb cuisine and natural abundance of mountains, forests and coastline. Everything we make is fresh, our ingredients are all sourced locally and we put the same passion and care in our preparation as our family did decades ago. Our sauces and doughs are made fresh daily and our meatballs and sausages are made in house.

We have over sixty years experience making pizzas and take deep pride in it. Our first restaurant opened in March, 1949 in Waterbury, quickly becoming one of the most popular pizza places in the entire area. Then, as demand grew, we opened a second restaurant in Middlebury. And then a third location in Southington several years later.

We work hard. And we’re proud to say we’ve earned some accolades over the years. We’ve been voted the BEST PIZZA in the Greater Waterbury area multiple times.

We have only one word to leave you with: Mangia!

    Hello! Tonight (3/13/19) Bill and I had a Margarita pizza and Angry Orchard -Rosette!!!!!! First ....great waitress (please forgive m e I forgot your name) .....tall, young, blond with a leg brace on from a dance injury. She was soooo friendly and attentive to Bill and I. Our pizza was so damn good! I wasn't sure if there was enough basil leaves but it was PERFECT. That pizza was right on the money. We even received a thank you as we were leaving from the guys in the kitchen who made our DELICIOUS pizza. Definitely dine in.... Nice and CLEAN establishment, great service.... Wished they delivered or was on Uber Eats, just a suggestion ????

    Best pizza around. Been the same since I was a kid 25 years ago. I've eaten at all the hot spots on CT, and these guys are the best.

    I had 3 different pizzas my first time here. I was there with family for my late brother in laws birthday so it was a sad day. The pizza was so good. I live 45 minutes away and I would drive out again just for the pizza here.

    My husband and I always order pizza for the super bowl. So awesome. My one question to myself...why don't I get it more often and why haven't I never been in for sit down. After reading all of your reviews o told my husband that's where I want to go for my birthday dinner. He was so surprised I didn't want to go upscale. This is great for me but meantime our superbowl pizza here we come❤

    First time there. Friendly staff, fantastic pizza! My wife ordered a beer which wound up being past the expiration date and they replaced it with no problem. Ordered a large pie amd should have gotten a small. We now have a couple days worth of leftovers! Will definitely be going back.
