“A top three restaurant in New Haven. A waiter at Barcelona restaurant told me and a colleague it was his favorite, and since we are in town for work we thought why not. We were pleasantly surprised! The waiter was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and helped me pick an awesome cocktail that recently came off the menu that was outstanding (Penicillin with candied ginger garnishment). The duck and brussel sprouts appetizer amazing, but the whole fish and the pork shank entrees knocked me off my feet with their robust flavor and texture. The shank had a crispy skin that paired very well with the cabbage and beans it sat in. The entire place was small and rustic with a hipster vibe.”

“This is a quaint little neighborhood bar and grill that offers a wide variety of choices. For 8 dollars you can get a New York sirloin strip with a baked potato or french fries a salad and a vegetable. For either 12 dollars or 14 dollars you can get a larger New York Strip. They make a grinder called "The Bomb" which is one of the house specialties. I highly recommend it.”

“El Tropical is truly local. Just off the highway. The Empanadas were very good and the service was excellent. One of the best waitresses ever. Kind, polite, attentive and responsive. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the questionable parking situation and the lack of vegetarian options. Y sin frijoles? Still there's great traditional dishes like the deep fried plantains con queso. The interior is cozy with laid back and easy vibes. Relax here.”

“First time at the North Haven Cinemark. We went and saw Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker in XD. Movie theater was great and I highly recommend although I haven't been to any other theaters in the area to compare. Walking in everything seemed clean and organized. Being my first time the process of getting food (had bought tickets online) wasn't 100% intuitive. We walked to the first counter but that was only for drinks, you had to walk around the side to get snacks and theater good. I will say I don't think I've been to a theater with so many food and drink options! The XD theater was great, sat in row E and the view was perfect! Sound and video quality were on point! Only complaint I have is the aisle lights splashed up onto the bottom right and left corners of the screen. On dark.scenes it washed out the corners with the bright red light. Overall a great expert and if I lived in the area I would definitely go back!”

“A busy weekday lunch with generous portions and fast service. I got the omelette with avocado and it hit the spot, and the side of bacon was perfectly crispy. Prices are a bit on the high side for a diner, but if you are feeling like breakfast for lunch this is a great local spot. You choose the tip at the register, and it looks like it calculates based on the total with tax - some people prefer to tip based on total for food not including tax. The person next to me got a salad, and it also very generous portions. All in all, it was good eating.”

“The food at La Lupa is top notch. The Sea bass is spectacular if you love fish, but honestly you can't go wrong with the meat or pasta meals either. My husband and I love going there, we've sampled quite a few meals. The people are friendly, the staff are on top of it, the food is delicious and it's very clean.
