Went here for a business dinner. The service was great and the lamb was excellent

The salmon was very good, stayed here for a conference and all the food served during the conference was very good as well. All the staff was very friendly and pleasant too.

Was great but they ran out of ham at 10am as it appears to be an ongoing issue. Management needs to look into fixing that due to the fact of numerous complaints of not having great inventory of ham. My group will be returning and would love to see this resolved to please your omelet lovers and chef. Thank you.

Excellent staff. Lunch in bar was great...light fare. Flat bread, calamari. Dinner in restaurant not so good. Scallops undercooked, side dishes were bland and could have been warmer. Desserts were stale.

My husband and I stayed at the Marriott this weekend. We had dinner at the Octagon. We first were seated in the dining area but quickly went to the lounge as the menus are different and apparently you can't get the bar menu in the dining room but can get the dining menu in the bar. The food had delicious flavor but came out cold and our steak which was supposed to be medium was raw. The bar tender that waited our table was great, her name was Amy she was very attentive. She quickly took our meal back to the kitchen and the steak was reheated and cooked a bit more. Mean while the bar tender comped us a glass of wine to share. We then ordered dessert which they didn't have due to it being back ordered. They comped our dessert we chose as well as gave us an extra to take back to our room. We conveniently charged the meal to our room and upon waking in the morning we found a letter from the restaurant manager under our door with an appogetic comped breakfast as well as Starbucks comps for coffee. The breakfast was delicious as was the Starbucks. They more than made up for the experience we had. We will definitely go back.
