I took my family there today. Such a great atmosphere. They are super friendly, and answered all my questions. I even got to speak my language Tagalog fluently!! Finally! Someone I can speak tagalog with besides my family! Best Filipino food, it sure brought back childhood memory and the Halo Halo was just heavenly. My daughter tried it for the first time and she was speechless when she took her first bite. She said she will probably will never have American dish or dessert again and can live off of Filipino cuisine for the rest of her life. The lumpia was amazing and my husband loved it. He has never had duguan before and he just loved it and loved the pancit as well! The price was descent and we went home with 3 different combos, 2 halo halo and 15 pieces of lumpia for a family of 3 for less than $40 now you can’t beat that!!! We will definitely go back again and again!!
Expensive, small portions, kinda bland and they like to give you small pieces of pork fat for $8. Also, the smallish 4" lumpia at $1 each is a total rip off. I stopped coming here after they decided to cut the lechon size in half and charged the same amount. (At this time, they were charging per 6 pieces not by container)
I don't recommend buying the single portion items because of the price, but getting the combos is a better deal in price point.
They get an extra star for being only Filipino place in the area, but if you have been to San Diego, this place is definitely isn't Tita's, and to be honest, any other Filipino restaurant I've been to.
My wife love this restaurant. They just opened. We like the fish they make there. Very nice tilapia fish.
Place is new so they are still working somethings out. Food was pretty good but I am also not an expert on Filipino food. I'm sure in a few months this place will be better suited for crowd control and have a better selection of drinks. I will definitely be visiting this place again!!!
This is my first time eating Filipino food, seeing as there are extremely few restaurants in CT. I must say the food was even better than I could’ve dreamed of. Also, eating the famed desert that is Halo-Halo was amazing. Great place for anyone looking for some high quality Filipino food
