The Shack

I wasn’t happy about the syrup on the table, however I quickly forgot about it because the food was so good. Food came quicker than expected and the prices were reasonable. Definitely check out The Shack.

This was my first visit to The Shack.

First, the good. The food, portion size, and pricing was perfect. I was also impressed the cook didn't add any additional salt during the preparation.

Unfortunately, the service and friendliness was lacking. After waiting for some time to be seated, I ended up at the front counter. Once seated, there was never a "hello" or friendly greeting by anyone. When someone did eventually address me, there was only a question what I was having to drink and eat. Also, at no time during my wait for my food was I offered a refill on my coffee.

Based on the food alone, I'd go back in the hopes the service improves.

Huge plate of pancakes and bacon cooked to perfection. Not the greatest coffee I ever had though. Service was very good.

Great diner style restaurant! Staff was is very friendly and the food is very good. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, I’d highly recommend The Shack!

Weird rule about seating at the counter. First come first serve basis but if you don't know you just wait in line while people walk past the line and sit nothing from the host about it. Food was good. Big portions small price. Fast order to table time. Worth the wait in line
