“We went to The Brook to have dinner and listen to the band that was playing there. We had wings, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. They were okay, nothing special, and it would have been nice to have a decent sauce to dip the mozzarella sticks into, not the stuff they served. The wings small and were over cooked and tough to eat. I was hoping for some good bar food but was disappointed.”

“My friend and I parked near this place last night on our way to New York Pizza when we saw that in the old Steve Bousquet's building there was an Asian Market and next to it was a Thai Restaurant. We both love Thai food so we thought we would give it a shot. The staff was very friendly and the place was nice and clean. Their food was reasonably priced and came out pretty quick with a lot on the plate. The food was fresh and done right for sure! Im so happy this place is in Danielson now. Please give them your business so they stay around for a long time.”

“Okay, hear me out. $12.99 for some of the best Mac & Cheese of your life. $13.99 for LITERALLY the best shepherd's pie youll ever have. All of it tastes and feels homemade. Sandwiches, local ice creams/cheeses/milk, delicious desserts, you name it. On a budget or looking for a fun dinner idea? They have a freezer where items closing in on their best-by dates are placed and marked HALF OFF! A full Macaroni and Cheese dinner for like $6? Full pies, desserts, burritos, you name it, all at an insane price. Literally, insane. This place is fantastic and I love getting to try new dishes at a discounted price because hey, why not? “Limberia Tropical Algarete is a total hidden gem! This is my new favorite spot in Willimantic. The owner puts so much detail into the presentation of the frappes, and they taste amazing! Whether you’re craving something sweet, or something refreshing like the fruit frappes, I promise you’ll be so glad you walked in the door. I already want to come back in the summer for another passionfruit limber! Forget Italian ice, the limbers from here are where it’s at! The ham bocadillo and nachos were tasty too, and next time I’ll have to try a hot dog - there was one with potato sticks that looked really good. The owner was so inviting and is clearly so passionate about her business. It’s a fast casual type of spot, so stop by when you’re in the area for a treat!”

“The atmosphere is that of your typical strip mall hole-in-the-wall takeout joint. I generally read that as a good omen, and it proved true in this case. We ordered a variety of appetizers (egg rolls, teriyaki beef, teriyaki chicken, and pan-fried pork dumplings), soups (wonton and hot & sour), and three entrees (Mongolian beef, chicken lo mein, and General Tso's chicken). I ordered on-site since I couldn't find an online menu, and waited about 25 minutes in my car for my food. Everything was still hot when I got home 15 minutes later, and we all dug in. Everything was great. Good portions. Very tasty. We will be back!”

“Great overall our hostess and server were very friendly and extremely attentive. Very cool inside with incredible ovens you can watch pizzas being made. The pizza was delicious all the ingredients are so fresh so you can really taste the sauce and distinct cheeses used. I added ricotta to my cheese pizza and wife had mushroom pizza. The crust has a nice little char in some spots from the powerful ovens. Definitely skilled pizza makers, I can’t wait to come back again soon.”

“This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. This was a great food experience. I had four different tacos, an Al Pastor Torta, and chicken flautas. The torta was really good, great flavor and loaded with food. The flautas had a nice light crispy shell and all white meat chicken. Great stuff. The tacos all had excellent flavor and were the best of the bunch. And a very nice young lady manning the counter just made it better. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 9.1.”
