Jack’s on Main

Checked out this place with my work besties for lunch. I have been talking about it as I keep hearing about it. All of the food was so good. This is single handedly one of the best restaurants in Kent county hands down. My favorite things were the scallops, crab dip and brownie. My friends enjoyed their meals- I tried some of everything and it was all so good. I look forward to going back!

This is the only time I regret giving a 5 star review. I am so happy with my lunch, I just hate the thought of Jack's getting so busy I couldn't get a table.
Now the food: Jack's Dop sandwich with a cup if mushroom bisque. Husband can't stop Raving about it. Soup was flavorful without the "dirt" taste. Very hearty and packed with large mushroom slices. Jack's dip he just says "Wow!"
I had the crab bisque soup and crab cake sandwich. The soup was very hearty, flavorful, and filling. The crab cake was amazing! NO fillers here, not over seasoned, and crispy on outside.
Appetizer was the crab dip. OMG this was amazing. Still simmering, goes, with cheese and the light hint if bell pepper.
The service was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable, and quick.

So excited to have a great little restaurant in our town. My wife and I went there the other night. Reservation required during peak hours. We enjoyed the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer which came with much more shrimp than I was expecting. My wife enjoyed the salmon with a maple bacon glaze special and I went straight for the 12 oz Prime rib. Everything was well cooked and tasted phenomenal. All the food was presented well and the service was great. The atmosphere was cozy and just right to have a quiet conversation. We will definitely be returning for our date nights.

Great dinner and dessert! Our waitress ( Abi is what was on the check, I have an awful memory sorry! ) was super nice and made this the best first time experience for us here. The bread pudding was hands down amazing! Definitely going back soon.

I was so excited to hear we have a restaurant in Clayton. Now that I had the chance to dine here, I have to say that it is actually quite awesome! I had the scallop special small plate that was delicious. I also had Jack's Cobb salad that was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend! Look forward to coming back
