Roma Italian Restaurant

A great experience, food was spectacular as expected and and our server was wonderful. Make the trip to visit Roma Italian Restaurant. (Did not want any confusion)

I have been going to Roma for the last 40 yrs. I have never been disappointed. The food is always great with nice portions with homemade Italian sauces. There is a nice variety of entrees to pick from Italian to seafood to steaks. I drive 2 to 3 hrs sometimes to eat there. Love love love it. Can't say enough good things about it. Very friendly and attentive staff. Kudos Roma for being around for so many year!

We were traveling through the area on our way back from vacation and were craving good Italian food (not a chain!). We found it! We were a little underdressed in shorts and t-shirts but were welcomed nevertheless. Our group ordered pasta, raviolis, shrimp Alfredo, salmon and NY strip. All were delicious and presented very well. The tomato crab bisque was delicious and generously portioned, as were the entrees. We will definitely stop again if we're in the area.

Our Friday night favorite. You can't go wrong, John Taffer would smile. They have a great specials menu which my husband orders from just about every time. Of course there are the Italian favorites, my fave. The owners put attention to detail. A must do.

I'd probably give this place a 4 if I was in Chicago but since it's Dover it's definitely a 5. The bar area is really nice, the service is excellent, and the food is actually quite good. Even the bread with olive oil and garlic that they give complimentary is pretty tasty. The oysters are fresh and local and very fairly priced, and the mixed seafood pasta is delicious. They were out of the first 2 bottles of wine we requested, but that was the only negative.
