I had the pulled chicken and pork combo and it was delicious. Could have used a little more sauce but other than that, was spot on. My wife had the smoked lean brisket and loved it. We had the pickle fries as an appetizer and I really enjoyed them. I enjoy fried pickles more than onion rings and they are easier on the stomach.

Heard good things about this place, but I am not local so when we were passing through Delaware we decided to it check it out. Had a lovely waitress, i believe her name was Leanne. very attentive but not to the point of annoying. Food was excellent!! Started out with fried pickle appetizer, absolutely DELICIOUS!! Corn bread was like cake. I had the baby back rib lunch special with mac and cheese, which was yummy and reasonably priced. Ribs were tender fall-off-the-bone good. Homemade sweet tea made the meal. Wish I lived closer, would def go back. Wish I saved room for the cherry cobbler. Recommend to anyone who enjoys a homey place with great food 5 STAR EXPERIENCE FOR ME!!

Pigs are everywhere in this kitschy, hometown restaurant. I’m a fan of BBQ and tasted their food at a catered event coming away with a very good impression! Visiting the restaurant was fine but the facility is dated and the waitress was way too chatty. Still the ribs were delicious and the salads were huge. A nice stop that’s not a chain. Broccoli salad is full of sugar!

We had a large group (15+) for lunch on a Friday Saturday and had a very enjoyable meal! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was excellent! While it isn’t the absolute best barbecue I have ever had (in Virginia), it is VERY good! Portions are generous and you shouldn’t be hungry afterwards. The side portions are also quit generous. They baked beans, broccoli salad and corn bread were especially enjoyed!

This place has historic roots in Dover that is a rarity anymore. The food is good, the atmosphere is casual, and comfy. Most importantly, it's affordable. Delicious BBQ oriented menu, that doesn't wreck you're wallet.

So before you write this place off, and head off to mission BBQ, long horn, or Texas roadhouse. Show the respect to your elders, and support a real Dover business.
