Route 40 Diner

The food wasn't bad, but my stepmother and I had both ordered the all-you-can-eat chicken and dumplings with a salad, and after our first bowl each, we were told there wasn't a lot left. My boyfriend ordered a bacon egg and cheese and home fries and the home fries were good, but very dry. Our waitress seemed to have an attitude and wasn't very attentive to our table.

Really like the little diner. Prices very reasonable. Food is good. Ordered the meatloaf first time there. An omelet second time. Going back Friday to try their prime rib special. Don't expect Gordon Ramsey quality. Don't get their Friday special prime rib. Truly poor cut of meat. Very tough piece of meat.

Great Food. Great Service. Some dishes can be a little better but overall, great place. It's local and good pricing. The stuffing I didn't like very much but Chicken Scampi meal was good. Will visit again soon.

First time going there, the food was good and servings huge. My 2 kids had a kids meal each and I had a salad, total was less than $20. The service was fast. My kids couldn’t finish their meals, we had to take some home.
