Aha South Indian Cuisine

I have only eaten here once, but the experience was exceptional. This was one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever eaten at anywhere, and definitely the best South Indian restaurant I have eaten at.

The menu is large without being overwhelming. Keep in mind though, some of the menu is more specifically South Indian than others; there are also quite a few of the more typical North Indian dishes that are probably provided because they are more widely-known among a general audience.

Probably my favorite item on the menu and what I would recommend is the Veg or Non Veg Thali, which is like an assortment of different items that comes with several different types of flatbread. It is probably the most authentic South Indian experience you can get, and I noticed that most of the Indian people eating here either ordered those items, or ordered the Dosa. But our group did order two of the North Indian items as well and they were both excellent too, so this place seems to do everything well.

Service was very good. The waiter was also very good at explaining things to us that were unfamiliar.

The main thing that I dislike about this restaurant is its location. It's not really near where I live, and furthermore it's located in an entirely car-oriented area that is unpleasant to be in and unpleasant to drive to. I also found their website annoyingly slow to respond, which is a pain if you are wanting to look up something about the menu. It's 2023, there is literally no good excuse for a slow website. That is also really frustrating. But I'm willing to forgive these two points and still give 5 stars because the restaurant itself was so thoroughly excellent.

First of all a big thank you to Praveen, Kiran, Sumanth and everyone else in the kitchen. I had my kids first birthday party yesterday in their party hall and this team has provided lots of support arranging the hall and we had a wonderful celebration. My guests were filled with delicious food and almost everyone talked about it during and after the party. Again a big thank you to Aha team. I would say we had an 'Aha' experience yesterday 😀

My husband and I enjoyed our meal. The food and service were very good. The prices were reasonable and the portions were good as well. Would recommend!!
