BBC Tavern and Grill

Visited Wilmington 2 times in 10 days and ate here both times. It was GREAT. Good food, good service and sat outside in the great weather. Will be back in May and if there is time to eat....I will eat here again.

Always a favorite of ours and usually crowded (for the very same reason), the BBC serves up well-executed typical pub fare. The nachos are huge and can be altered to your liking. The shrimp tacos always hit the spot. And they have a decent beer selection. I'd give it five stars if they improved the wine list and kept more local and craft beers on tap.

Like my friend is ordered a BBC Burger but mine was to be rare while my friends ordered before me was ordered medium well. . .I think. . .but anyway, as both were delivered to the table there was no certainty on which was which. When we cut into both burgers, his was correct and mine was done. I didn't want to wait for another to be made or for a perfectly edible food to be thrown out so I consumed it with my friends.

We had a great meal in this cozy tavern. We enjoy sharing nachos as an appetizer and folks, what we ordered was not only excellent, but mounded with so much that we took it home for a quick oven reheat the next day! Very friendly, reasonably priced and good food.
