Metro Steak & Seafood

My summer salad had mounds of greens with a few strawberries and pieces of chicken. It looked like a lot of food but very little other than greens. They were out of tomato soup and cheesecake. This was an early dinner on a Wednesday night so strange that they were out of those items. Also, their salmon is not wild caught, given the prices I was overall disappointed.

This place has made some nice changes. New menu and better decor. The staff is always very friendly and the food very good. You are definitely paying for these changes though; the prices have definitely gone up. Personally, I feel like it's worth it.

Haven't been to metro since it was bought out by Augustine Chop House (find previous review of them, we had a great evening there). The decor/ inside remained relatively the same but the menu was more similar to the chop house.
The menu is mainly steak & seafood with two chicken options along with an appetizer and salad section. While I do not enjoy seafood my husband got the striped bass which he enjoyed and ate every bit of. I chose the basic parm crusted chicken and while delicious it was ENTIRELY too much angel hair pasta I felt like I barely made a dent in my dish, LOL. Between the two of us we left full and happy :)

The menu is pricey, 100%. But the food, atmosphere and drink options make it completely enjoyable. We will be back, maybe only for a special occasion or a special date night but we will certainly come back.
