Playa Bowls Middletown

Absolutely delicious and fresh. I love this place and go every weekend. Easy to order and always done promptly whether you go inside or order ahead. I love how simple it is to do half/half bowls and the smoothies are perfect. We have been going constantly over the last few months, any time we are in the area.

Side note: the people that reviewed before and complained about the service most likely went on a bad day with new ppl who were trying to learn their jobs, or the reviewers have a bad attitude themselves. We have been going for a long time now and have never had an issue, and the ppl behind the counter are always willing to answer questions - even when it’s busy. I hate that ppl trash a place once and their reasoning is that a service worker didn’t smile. Was your smoothie less delicious bc of that? Try to not care so much about external factors and work on your own insides. And no, we are not family nor do we know a single person working at a Playa Bowl location anywhere.

It is great to see Delaware finally embracing the healthy, whole foods movement and this is prime example. Fun and fresh smoothies and bowls, all dairy free. Great atmosphere and decorations - beach themed - and friendly staff. It was a great experience and I can't wait to return. I really wish they would put one in Dover.

Great place to hang out and the food is awesome but not a fan of the kids behind the counter. It was very unprofessional and unsanitary for the owner to have her kids behind the counter near the food and employees. Other than her child jumping around like an animal, the staff was very friendly and helpful.
