A Ya So Nice: Authentic Jamaican Food

So I’m no novice to the flavors of West Indian food (Haitian here) - so i expected a lot out of this spot.
The dumplings were literally the best dumplings I’ve had in a while, talk about deliciousness in a ball. So that was great.
The rice was okay, nothing to write home about. The cabbage wasn’t as seasoned , if any. But it was doable when eaten with everything else.
But the chicken , it was good (curry chicken) but it had all these tiny bones i had to keep picking out.
Really frustrating to eat , but i finished it anyhow.
I now go here for only the dumplings, i promise they’re just that bomb.

Love this place i always get the red snapper brown stew peas and rice. Very nice portions. Full of flavors. EXCELLENT

I ordered curry chicken and brown stew chicken for my kids, both were amazingly good. I had oxtails which weren't seasoned as well as the chicken and as everyone else said they had a lot of fat... they weren't nasty just need a little more seasoning. I also had a beef patty which was really good... nice and flaky as it should be. I will return because I would like to try the jerk pork.

Today was my first time visiting this place. I ordered the stew peas n it was great???????????????? smelled n tasted like my Mom made it. I only gave them 4 stars because I want to see if the rest of their menu is going to be as good or even better than their stew peas.
