This location, at 414 Delaware Street, has great potential, but the previous two restaurants were not great successes. My wife and I ate here on Thanksgiving Eve, and I can say without exaggeration that Zollies provided our most interesting meal in New Castle in the past 20 years. We are looking forward to future adventures at Zollies.
The vibe is Southern/Caribbean (complete with a steel drum player), and the food was delicious and well presented. I had a very good shrimp & grits, while my wife had the duck leg confit.
WOW!!!! These folks know how to treat a lonesome palette.... The pandemic has limited our access to culinary choices, but Zollies Jazz Cucina gives NEW meaning to taste... This eclectic gathering place proves to be a hit in Old Historic New Castle. The menu leads you on a delectable journey of the shore-lined south. The music, food and atmosphere will impress and call you back... Good luck to Chef Tony and Q....
The most delicious food is served here! The Caesar salad is a slightly grilled half a Romaine heart floating on a sea of gorgeous dressing with acres of Parmesan cheese flakes on top. See my empty plate below, I always want to lick my dish! Today we had the brisket and caramelized onions - perfect, tender, more-ish. Beautiful potato hash. Perfect presentation - see the picture - I just dove in. And the live jazz was excellent too. So happy you came to New Castle!
Such a nice surprise. Atmosphere is wonderful food was amazing and staff was so friendly. Love New Castle. This is our new go to when visiting.
An absolutely stunning atmosphere of beautiful music and equally beautiful food. The service was thoughtful, patient with my friends order and were gracious enough to help explain what certain items mean on the menu.
The drinks were quality and quaint. We went there for brunch and left feeling happier than we were when we first arrived.
We went on a whim and never heard of it before but know I'm trying to tell everyone I know about this place. The small window time of them being open may be a problem in the future for their relatively small building, however the pretty back patio does give some extra room.
Will absolutely be coming again to experience it all over again.
