    Their food is very good and it’s cooked to order. What’s even better is their customer service. They treat you good in here and the atmosphere is always peaceful, I’m sure you will enjoy this place. You gotta try it out cause you are missing something good!!

    I will say this has been the best Halal food I have every had. I ordered chicken and lamb over rice at 11pm and the food tasted fresh !!! The flavors are on point and was not salty like most halal places. Definitely would recommend!

    Good Halal spot in Newark. Chicken and Lamb over rice was well seasoned and had a spicy kick. Tried the green sauce also, a cilantro lime chili that provided a nice sweet taste. Recommend Shah’s if you are looking for Halal food in the Newark area.

    Amazing! Placed a last minute take out order and my food was ready relatively quickly. I ordered a bunch of mixed combo platters and everyone loved their order. Shahs’ rice is better than any other platter rice I’ve had. The lady at the register was so pleasant and helpful. Restaurant is nice and clean with plenty of sitting area. Portion sizes and price point is excellent. Highly recommend you check this place out.
