Deerhead Hot Dogs

Always good consistent fare, flavored cokes, great shakes reasonable prices!????

I am a diehard deer head hotdog maniac for over 30 years. It’s saddens me to say that the deer head hot dog located on Maryland Avenue has been inconsistent with their dogs. I don’t know if they’re trying something new or watt but it is not working first of all there onions are cut way too big this is a change that has recently taken place. Second I went there twice last week and each time had two different rolls. Third of all The sauce is warm not hot so for future visits I will take the drive to Christiana/ Newark store located across from Christiana Hospital to get my deer head.

I always try something plain when I go to places like this....I tried 3 very plain hit dogs and although good, I was not wowed. Same feelings for the fries. Same taste as wawa hot dogs but those are a buck.

I love this place, fun old school vibe. They were nice enough to give me some 'special sauce' to put on my CS. The sauce had a nice kick. The Cheesesteak was average/above average. I loved the roll. The meat was very good. I would have liked more meat. I like my cheese melted into the meat.
