Godavari Delaware

Went to a nail salon and smelt their food. They were soo nice. Wait time less than 15minutes. Because I was indecisive, I ordered goat curry and they gave me a extra chicken sauce to try. The serving was big. While waiting I saw different ethnicities and age groups come in (white, African American, Asian). I will definitely be going back. They have a full bar . The goat curry came to $13.99. I ate it for 3 meals

South Indian restaurant with simple decor, spacious seating and a big parking lot. Went there for a weekend lunch buffet. Wide variety of food to taste from, all of which were fresh, delicious and had authentic flavors. The place was almost full, yet service was fast and food was reasonably priced ($31 for 2). Recommend and would definitely return when in the area.

I am comparing this restaurant to Indian food I’ve had elsewhere in Jersey City and the DC area. I also will preface this review with the caveat that I prefer northern Indian cuisine. All of that being said, the best thing about this meal was the fried cauliflower in sweet/spicy sauce. That app was delicious. The chicken 555 with medium spice was too hot for the non-spice acclimated, the mutton in the biriyani was over cooked, the samosas were good, and the butter chicken was good, but it was the only curry dish I wanted to try. I did not try any dosas so I cannot speak to those, but the rest was average.

Wonderful food and service. We usually order to go but had the pleasure of dining in today. Cold? Warm up with some tasty Indian food!

Lots of delicious options. The waiter was kind enough to help us pick out a variety of things to try, all very delicious. We especially liked some vegetable dumplings in a gravy/sauce. Can't wait to go back and try more things!
