Kydrea is the GOAT!! best bartender they got!
Tried Bar Roja with some friends on Friday night. $62 plus tip for two of us and we were full! Each of us had a margarita type drink (I don't remember the drink names), three tacos, street corn, rice, and fundido. Everything was delicious! Food comes out tapas style, so order a food mix so that you're not waiting.
Staff was incredibly attentive- tag teaming to make sure everything as attended to.
Love the bright decor- quite a change from the dark atmosphere of Scratch's.
Definitely worth a try! Highly recommend!
I will be returning to this place many times. The food was delicious, and they had vegetarian options without mushrooms! The drinks were creative and delicious, and the decor was bright and clean. Our server was super sweet, even though we had a couple of diners with many questions.
This is by far my favorite place to eat in Wilmington!! I’ve tried every taco flavor and have not been disappointed. I also order the salsa dip every time. Every salsa is amazing my favorite and what I think is the best is the mango flavored one(the people I go with disagree that’s the best)!! The service was friendly and venue cute. I hope to be back soon! :)
Atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, but it’s definitely a whitewashed experience. Not exactly an original concept of family style eating, but I have no complaints there. Food tasted pretty good! I tried a variety of different tacos and they all tasted pretty great. A bit on the greasier side however. Unfortunately wasn’t provided with a plate to eat over and the tacos can be a bit messy. I understand they have to make a profit, but chips and salsa are typically a complimentary item, but I guess for $3 it’s not a terrible cost. Definitely on the smaller serving size. I’d give it a try again, but if you’re looking for a filling meal you’ll need to buy quite a few tacos.
