I had the chicken and waffles and it was delicious. The chicken breast was huge and the spicy honey was a good added touch.
this place is so good! i had it for the first time and it was heaven in my mouth i had a rice bowl with pineapple habanero fried chicken ? it was delicious definitely would recommend
I had the chicken fried rice bowl. It was good overall. The rice was overcooked, but it kind of worked anyway and tasted good. The egg was perfect.
The place seems kind of run down already. The floors were sticky and filthy looking. The front door was propped part-way open with a dirty brick. There was an old, huge, grungy freezer taking up a big part of the seating area, with a dolley on top of it. A cook was sitting at one of the tables in his apron, surfing the web on his phone. It had a weird vibe.
I'm still giving it three stars because the food was pretty good and they got it out quickly. I'll probably give it another shot.
Only had the sliders but will be back to try wings and salads. Chicken was crispy and pretty juicy inside. Flavor could be enhanced. Prices seemed 'OK'. The biscuits seem to be half cornbread which was a nice change. No classic-style chicken sandwich (yet?). Went back later with a friend - the door says open until 6, but they were closed at 5:10! Doesn't sound right for a 6-day-old business. Owners must be happy with sales if they are closing that early.
