Franco's Pizza & Pasta

An older joint but good pizza. The first day the two carryout pizzas was fantastic, the salad was soggy and felt like it was made hours ago sitting in it's dressing for as long also so avoid the salad. (Half star less)

The next day the pizza was sightly undercooked (other half star off) but still decent for our hungry group. They go heavier on the sauce which we actually like. Dough was firm and chewy, the sauce was pretty good and seasoned well, not too salty like some places. The cheese was good too.

I have been coming here for years. First in Dover, now at the Dewey location. While the Dewey location lacks in ambiance, the good is how I remember it in Dover. Pizza is great, subs even better. I still dream about their cheesesteaks, just don't order a large because you won't be able to finish it.

Best pizza in town -- by far! Best for take out. Super helpful staff, so many options, and fresh hot pizza -- as well as calzones and a bunch of other stuff. We love coming to Franco's every time when we're in town!
