Ordered mussels, almost half of ours and the whole plate of my cousins were unopened. Some things were good, some things were okay. Note to Chef: if ordering a non-red sauce dish, don’t serve pasta with red sauce on the side. Ask if the customer wants the pasta with their meat. I’d rather have pasta with my Marsala sauce...
Really good pizza. a nice place with friendly waiters. Good service. I had a big group with me and our food did not take long at all. Plus, it was delicious! a good place for family.
First time at Mancini’s. PROS: Comfortable and clean good experience with all staff. Service was excellent and quick. Our food quality was good. CONS: tad bit pricey for alcohol and wine but not enough to deter us from going back.
Mancini’s is one of our go to places at the beach. We have never had a bad meal here and they have an awesome house Chianti. So why the three stars you may ask?
1. The prices are extremely high. I understand this this the beach however, some of the prices they charge are downright crazy. Every entree (which are very expensive to begin with) comes with a house salad, if you would like Cesar instead of house dressing, it is a $3 upgrade! It would be one thing if it was homemade Cesar dressing, but it’s not (according to the staff). They also hardly have any specials during the off season which is disappointing.
2. While we generally get pretty good service, as previous reviewers have mentioned, some of the staff is very pretentious. Given the fact that this is nowhere near a 5 star establishment (the interior is dated and hasn’t been changed in over 20 years), it is very unnecessary and is one of my pet peeves. It’s Ocean City/Fenwick after all!
