Spagnolo’s Deli

Stopped on way to sports facility. They had deli sandwiches of any kind and a few specialties on the board that I probably would have tried if I just didn’t hurry. Looked yummy. Tunas were great, as well as turkey and swiss. No eat in . A few chairs for waiting. Family business. Friendly. Drinks in cooler. Will go out of my way and go another time.

A few years after the popular Patty's Deli and catering closed and moved to a bigger spot in Lewes, Spagnola's opened after much renovation. It looks great inside, a picnic table outside. The owner was very nice and hospitable and the cheesesteak I ordered was delicious, hit the spot. We were staying at a nearby Tru Hotel by Hilton by Route 13 in Georgetown. I definitely want to come back again and try something else.

I got an Italian sub yesterday and it was the best I’ve had in the 30+ years I’ve lived in this area! Everything was fresh and delicious. Prices are great. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. All the sides are desserts looked amazing. The store is clean and very attractive inside. I will definitely be back. :)

I ordered and enjoyed a very fresh and delicious chicken cheesesteak. It was busy and despite the line service was fast and friendly. Nice selection of desserts too.

They are new, and could get better or worse. Friendly staff. Limited menu (no fries, no cheese steaks) but if they did what they do impeccably that would be ok. All they do is sandwiches. The bread was not great. Dry, maybe a few days old.
I hope they get better.
