Fish and chips had to be the best, I have ever Eaten! Very yummy, but the hamburger was not so good. That was not eaten, asked for well-done and it was very red. The service is slow, but it’s just the woman working no help! She is such a sweet lady, definitely worth giving it a try

We got there just as they were closing but they were still welcoming. Fish bites and fried fish were 5 stars but the chips (french fries) soggy and tasteless. Service and friendliness were top drawer! We will become regulars, can't wait to try the smoked fish!

I've enjoyed this restaurant several times since it opened in the fall. Nothing fancy - just a few tables. But the food is great! I'm not a big fan of fish - I have to be in just the right mood to try it. The fish & chips were excellent. In addition to traditional tartar sauce, you can use vinegar or other sauces. The curry sauce was my favorite! Another visit, I tried an evening special - shepherd's pie. Very good. Last week I tried the chicken tenders. At first I was disappointed that they weren't fried like the fish. But I dipped them in some curry sauce and the disappointed disappeared. Yum! Don't forget to try their side dishes. Cole slaw, mushy peas (you don't see this in the US very often) and colcannon (basically mashed potatoes with onions and kale). All are very good. They even have burgers if that's what you're in the mood for. The owners are very nice and want to make sure you have a good experience. It's a small shop, so they can give their guests their attention.

Personable, friendly and authentic. Greeted by Fiona herself upon arrival who made us feel immediately comfortable. The food was delicious. Fish and chips for my partner who raved and fried shrimp for me. The only thing missing was a pint of Guinness.

Great Little Restaurant - Seven of us went to Fiona’s last night for the first time and we all loved it. I called ahead and the owner very graciously setup a large enough table for us and she was very welcoming upon our arrival.

We all had the fish & chips. A few got the smoked fish and the others got the regular so we shared tastes. The were both fantastic...! Served with fresh cut fries that I smothered in malt vinegar while others ate them plain or with ketchup. Plus we had the fresh made coleslaw that had a really nice onion flavor.

Another plus was, though they do not serve alcoholic beverages, we were allowed to BYOB.

All in all, we had a great meal, fun interactions with the owners and we all said we must go back again.

I strongly recommend that, if you live in or are traveling through Sussex County Delaware, you stop in for a mouthwatering treat of Irish Fish & Chips. You’ll be glad that you did.
