Tequila Real

Excellent service and great food! Glad that a top notch restaurant has finally moved into this location. The atmosphere is awesome and the location near the water and park make it a decent destination for a day trip.

We were looking forward in checking this place out. Once inside we waited and waited for someone to greet us. The decor was nice but noticed trash and food on the floor. As we were seated our table was sticky and I told the waitress about the debris and food and her comment was they were very busy that morning. However at that time it was slow and she did not take care of the issues. The food came out hot and fast and did taste good. Not impressed with the cleanliness for a new restaurant or the service.

Today was our third visit here. We have had two lunches and one dinner here. The food is consistently good. In our mind this is the best Mexican restaurant near the beaches. Service is great. Margaritas are made well. The food comes out promptly and it’s nice and hot. The sauces are nicely spiced and flavored. Since Tequila Real has opened, we have enjoyed going out for Mexican food again!!!

Stopped in here for lunch. Got the street taco carnitas, a tamale and a steak burrito lunch special. All of the food was served hot and was flavorful with good sized portions for lunch. The guacamole was flavorful as well and the chips were served hot. The building was clean, service was friendly and bathrooms were clean as well. Would come back again.

Every item has been very good so far. Huge menu is somewhat intimidating. Much to read. I've had great success just closing my eyes and pointing. The service tries hard to keep up especially when a "rush" occurs but the wait has been well worth it! My wife loves the rasberry margarita. Gonna have to go every weekend to have opportunity to try every item in this lifetime. I do hope they keep to the details to stay successful. Great location. We need this on Milton.
